Ducks of a Feather and Flight Club Celebrate Innovation and Heritage with Limited Edition DOAF x Nike Air Max 1 “Tokyo”

A Fusion of Oregon Pride and Japanese Aesthetic Honors the Legacy of Tinker Hatfield’s Iconic 1987 Design and Celebrates the University of Oregon Family

PORTLAND, June 10, 2026 - Division Street’s Ducks of a Feather (DOAF) brand is teaming up with Flight Club, the original sneaker consignment store, to release a limited edition DOAF x Nike Air Max 1 “Tokyo,” a thoughtful design that honors the groundbreaking heritage of Tinker Hatfield’s revolutionary silhouette while celebrating the cultures of Oregon and Japan.

Inspired by DOAF’s first-ever Nike Air Max 1 colorway, originally designed by Hatfield, this concept blends heritage with modern storytelling. The DOAF x Nike Air Max 1 “Tokyo” features a sophisticated multicolor graphic and custom Duck head that represents the different backgrounds, experiences, and circumstances of the individuals who make up the Ducks family.

Rendered in a calming, grey-based color palette inspired by Tokyo’s philosophy of simplicity and craftsmanship, the design is elevated by vibrant multicolor accents that reference the bright lights of Shibuya and Harajuku. The tongue features custom Japanese characters spelling “GO DUCKS,” a global nod to the university’s worldwide community of supporters.

Flight Club Drawings for the DOAF x Nike Air Max 1 “Tokyo” will be open from Tuesday, June 23 to Friday, June 26 – available for sign-up online and in-store. Drawings can also be previewed in-store alongside a personal, curated Oregon PE collection from Hatfield and others. On the last day of the Drawings, DOAF and Flight Club will host a meet and greet with Hatfield at Flight Club Tokyo. More details on the meet and greet to follow soon on Flight Club’s Instagram.

Only 300 pairs of the DOAF x Nike Air Max 1 “Tokyo” will be produced worldwide and will be released via Flight Club on Sunday, June 28, exclusively at Flight Club Tokyo. The release coincides with the timing of the Tokyo Oregon Football Showcase presented by Flight Club, an event featuring Oregon Football Coach Dan Lanning and standout Oregon players Dante Moore, Dakorien Moore, Jamari Johnson, Jeremiah McClellan, Evan Stewart, Jordon Davison, and Dierre Hill Jr. conducting a live exhibition to demonstrate fundamental skills, core concepts and techniques to local Japanese players.

As with all DOAF initiatives, proceeds generated from the DOAF x Nike Air Max 1 "Tokyo" will benefit participating University of Oregon student-athletes.
